Dream Cars USA - Making Dreams Come True Since 1977
Welcome to our 32 year old father-son
operation, my name is Ron Watson and my sons name is Keith. We live
in the foothills of the
I have been restoring classic cars since
the early 1960s and still love restoring at the ripe old age of 63.
I served in the
US Army
in the late 60s as a Chinook helicopter
mechanic/crew chief in
Keith and I started restoring his first car when he was only 13 - a classic red 1964 ½ Mustang that he still owns and drives today. He is now 37 and grew up watching The Dukes of Hazard. He loved the Dodge Charger named General Lee, so about 7 years ago he built one. He loves the sound of the 440 engine and has had "The Dukes" sign the car. His 3 year old daughter says she "loves John Snyder’s signature and their picture with him”.
Together, my son and I have built and restored many incredible classic and muscle cars - including the black 1969 Mustang fastback featured in Keith Urban's video "Sweet Thing". While driving the car Urban was inspired to write the hit country song "Sweet Thing" , which not only refers to the Mustang, but is also his pet name for wife Nicole Kidman who purchased the car for Urban as an anniversary gift. The song was a big hit and you can see the mustang in action in the "Sweet Thing" video on YouTube. We have also built replicas of the car known as Eleanor, featured in "Gone In 60 Seconds", starring Nicolas Cage & Angelina Jolie. You may have seen our cars in several other movies, music videos, and possibly on the street as well. - check out our Celebrity Sales page for more info.
